I Don't Understand - MALAYSIAKINI

1.I Don't understand how Syed Hamid Albar can try to act like a hero and say that he will continue doing his duty to tell the public about making Hindraf illegal or other issues because the government chooses to do so under the home ministry affair. Is he trying to make himself sound like a victim or trying to become a hero?It doesn't matter if the government chooses to inform the public under the home ministry but what is important is how Syed Hamid Albar feels about it,Does he really agree with the government or is he just carrying out his job? That is whats important. If he really does agree with what the government tells him to do then he shouldnt really complain at all unless he doesn't really agree with the government. If he doesn't agree with the government and he says things like that it shows that most BN leaders just know how to follow the leader and don't want to voice out their feelings.I say look at Zaid Ibrahim,He doesn't agree with the government over the ISA issue and he resign from his post,So if Syed Hamid Albar really doesn't agree with the government and is just carrying out his job then he should do the same too...That if he actually stands up for how he feels.Have some dignity!

2.We all know what ISA means,I Simply Arrest. However the government decided to tell the public that they will use ISA against whoever they feel is a threat to the nation or will cause problems among the races. This was their excuse on why the Sin Chew journalist was arrested because she reported Ahmad Ismail's statement when the main actor himself just got suspended for three years just because he is a "party member" and the length of suspension is just right for him to contest in the next election. Now how on earth can ISA arrest a six year old girl? How is she a threat to the society? She is only six year old for god sake,Is the government trying to show that they have a wicked sense of humour?Six year old and she is already in jail. That is a joke but not a joke to us Malaysians who feels that ISA stands for I Simply Arrest. Now,I know that the six year old was released immediately the next day but that doesn't matter. What matters most is WHY the SIX year old girl was ARRESTED in the first place.

3.I don't understand how UMNO which is also the big boss in BN can promise us to have a fair election when their nomination itself is screwed. They promise that they will have no corruption,Fair election but take a look at what is going on in their own election,Rais yatim saying people is telling him to buy votes and KJ crying foul over some issues on his nomination to be youth chief.I find it hard to digest but as a Malaysian what can i do?There are so many funny but sad things happening in Malaysia and it is making us the laughing stock of the world.I just don't understand how the government is still the government of Malaysia.

The biggest joke of the week,Read it all from the Malaysiakini website:

How The Conspiracy To Bring DSAI Down Was Planned

Even this guy has admitted on what had really happened in the famous sodomy case that was charged against Anwar Ibrahim. What I am not happy about is why the government acted like this video has never exsist?I thought they were all against corruption or protecting the citizen so how come this video was never taken seriously?I mean afterall...

They should "arrest" people under ISA to question them...Or perhaps they shouldnt IF and only IF they are a party member. That doesn't make sense at all,Teresa kok is a party member of DAP,Raja Petra is a party member of PKR if they did something wrong then why were they not just punished by their respective party but they got arrested by the ISA instead?

So how come this botak fellow can say that Ahmad Ismail was not arrested because he is a "party member" which he repeated twice and that actions were taken against him in the party so he got what he "deserves" and all is good.

How come they can determine who should and should't be arrested under ISA?I thought they they were not "Above the law".So with this statement and report,Am i right to say that if PKR were to take actions against Raja petra or DAP were to take actions against Teresa kok because they are both "party member" they will not get arrested under ISA?

I certainly DON'T THINK SO.

All this not being "Above the law" crap is rubbish. The excuses that were given by the home minister is worst than rubbish. The statement that they do not want to interfere with police investigation is totally worst than anything that is worst than rubbish.

I am writing this with confidence that you guys out there still remember the "korek korek korek" case.So I ask,How come this V.K Lingam fellow is still walking freely, going out enjoying himself,Eating happily and showing his smiling weird saying weird statements like...

It sounds like me,It looks like me....But it is not 100% me

The statement he gave was so bad that it is probably enough to arrest him under ISA.My question is how come this man here was not arrested under ISA,ACA the police or whatsoever for what he has done with even a video evidence to prove it.The funny part is,How come the Sin Chew journalist was arrested under ISA for just.....Doing her job...

If that is the power of not being "above the law" I also want lah...

I would also like to join BN and become a party member,Incase i do anything wrong next time like robbing a bank or killing somebody i will not get arrested okay!I will jus probably get suspended or sacked from the party which i don't really care and i will still have my freedom. Why?Because i am a party member! No one can arrest me because i am a party member! It is like insurance you know?

Totally crap,If the government wants us to trust them, the police and the law...Then stop manipulating them!

I read Malaysiakini and saw the latest news,Here is the link from the Malaysiakini website

http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/91490

It says arrest Khairy under ISA...Read about it but i can tell you it probably won't happen because Khairy is a "party member"

Am I right?

Ah!Korek!Ah!Korek Korek Korek!

Even The UMNO Nomination Itself Is Screwed

1.I haven't been blogging recently due to a technical problem that i have been facing with my domain.I would like to remind you guys out there about my Samy Vellu post,He kept saying he will talk to our PM about releasing the Hindraf leaders but what happened to it?It has been so long now and still no news,It is either Samy did not keep to his words or our PM did not want to listen to him at all.So is this how MIC stands with UMNO?They have no power to say or do anything?I am very sad about this issue and i already know the outcome when Samy said that he wanted to talk to our PM to release the five hindraf leaders,No results at all.

2.What i would like to discuss about today is how Khairy's camp is crying foul over the Kimanis nomination.A Khairy supporter said that between 45 to 50 supporters were barred from returning to the Membakut Community Hall near Papar, where the meeting to nominate the Youth top posts was being held. The final result of the election was Mukhriz with 51 votes and Khairy with 31 votes.I think that the 45-50 supporters who were barred would definitely make a big impact on the results either way. Now,if UMNO itself cannot have a fair nomination what about our general election itself? The government always want us to believe that we are having a fair election and all this nonsense but i certainly don't think so.We all know how there are so many "Pengundi hantu" and weird numbers of voters turning up during election day and we are already so used to it.

3.Imagine the results if we have a fair election,Would the government even still be in power?Which MP's would have actually lose instead of winning it?I am very sad that our country's general election is being held this way because it is an obstruction towards justice. We saw so many dramas happening during our last general election.Remember how one of the opposition MP was arrested because he was doing his part by trying to block a bus full of pengundi hantu?Remember how the ink plan was proposed but was cancled last minute? There are so many more but i don't have to mention it because you guys already know.I am already sick and tired of hearing all these stories,If the government want to win big they should buck up or get lost.I am tired of seeing our general election being influenced,I am tired of seeing MCA,GERAKAN and MIC doing nothing to go against UMNO,I am tired of seeing corruption everywhere in this country,I am tired of false accusation in this country,I am tired of seeing money disappearing everywhere in this country,I am tired of the lack of transparency in this country and most of all,I am tired of the cover ups in this country.

4.It is so bad that even the UMNO nomination itself have problems. We are not talking about a general election but a party's own nomination.I know that no government is perfect and corruption are bound to happen but the level of corruption in our country is so high that it is basically normal in our life.I am sure that we all know how we can pay extra to get our driving licence,I am also sure how we all know that we just have to pay the police rm30-rm50 to escape being saman.Question is,Can we really blame them?I think the government should be partly blamed for this. The wages that they receive are peanuts and is certainly not enough to cover their living expense which in the end forced them to take "extra" pocket money.Let us just take a look at Singapore,It is impossible to bribe their police there to escape being fine but just take a look at our country. How come the Singapore government can make sure that their police force will not take any bribes whereas in our beautiful country,It is basically a normal routine to take bribes? This is how "efficient" the government is running our country.

5.Anyways for my readers our there, you can read about the UMNO nomination thing from the link given below from the the Malaysiakini website.

http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/91063

I think that the government should start concentrating on making things fair and lower down the number of corruption.Ever since March 8 they have been using ACA even more to show us what they are doing to fight corruption. The thing is all i can see for now is ACA catching the small people for corruption and no big names yet.If they really want to show Malaysians that they are doing their part in catching anyone who is corrupted,Then capture the big names who deserves it.Anyway,Can anyone tell me what happened to the report that was filed against our PM and our DPM?

That's right...Nothing happened.

How The Modern Malays Are Destroying Islam

1.The topic says it all,I am sorry and sad to that the modern malays are destroying Islam and that is indeed the truth,Sometimes we try to look on the other side because we know that it affects us and that it is our fault but sometimes what we really need to do is to pinch ourselves and do what we should have been doing all along,Facing reality. There are so many modern Malays who drinks and eat non-halal food which is not allowed in their religion.I am no one to tell them what they can or cannot do but i can only give my advise and try to teach them.At the end of the day it all boils down to them to decide if they want to continue doing it or not. That is not what i want to discuss about but what i really want to talk about is how they are trying to defend themselves when they know that what they are doing is not allowed. What i am trying to say is that if you know you are doing something wrong and you are admitting it,It is fine but if you are going to do something wrong and trying not to admit it but instead say things that confuses other people's mind then i have a problem with that.

2.I have seen so many malay muslims drinking so often that it is not a rare sight anymore,It is basically normal to see malays drinking out in public with their friends or at a social party. It happened so often that one day my friend asked me out for a drink.I replied saying that I am a muslim,I dont drink and he got quite surprised. He got quite surprised not because i don't drink but because he didnt know that muslims can't drink. He told me that he saw so many malays drinking that he thought it was actually allowed.

I once asked my Malay friend why he actually drinks and he ended up trying to give me a lecture about it.He said that if you drink it is actually "Makruh" it is only "Haram" if you drink until you get drunk. You would be surprise but he is not the only one who told me that.I got dissappoined because we all know that as Muslims,We cannot even drink a drop of alcohol and if we do drink, our prayers will not be accepted for a period of time,40 days if i am not mistaken and there we go people saying that drinking is allowed.I mean if you want to drink and choose to ignore the rules as a muslim,go ahead no one is stopping you but please don't try to change and turn it around to make people think that what you are doing is actually okay. You like it or not,Our image as muslims will get tarnished and I dont want that to happened.I don't want non-muslims going around offering muslims alcohol thinking that it is okay for them to drink if they don't get drunk. The modern malays should take responsibility for your own action,If you do something that is not allowed in the religion then just admit it instead of confusing other people with your own "theory"

3.We all know that as a muslim,We have to be sure that what we eat is halal and that we should refrain from non-halal food.We all know that non-halal is not just pork but can be chicken or any other meat which is not slayed in the name of our god.We all know that but we all also know that many non-muslims know that.If there are non-muslims who say that their restaurant is halal because they don't serve pork and don't know about the other meat then we should not blame them because they are not muslims and they don't really know about it.Sure,Some of them do but not all of them so it is okay to forgive them. What i am not happy about is how the modern malays know about this but choose to ignore this.It happens here in Malaysia but mostly overseas. There are so many malay muslims who would just enter a non-halal restaurant and just eat the chicken there. You ask them why and they will tell you it is okay to eat there if you avoid eating pork. The thing is,If the restaurant is already non-halal what makes you think that only the pork meat there is non-halal,What about the chicken meat?Have they ever thought about this? Some of them say they can eat because they "don't know" if it is non-halal.We should ask them back if they "dont know" or simply Don't want to know?

Alot of them know but they just choose to ignore it.I experienced this once when i went on an overseas trip with my friends. They were eating in a non-halal restaurant and i was feeling rather uncomfortable.I told them its fine i will just sit there and eat a burger later when they are done and that i don't really mind waiting for them because they wanted to eat there. The restaurant serves pork and it is very obvious that it is non-halal.I have no problem with my friends if they want to eat there but I honestly did not like it when i was told that it is okay to eat in a non-halal restaurant as long as i avoid eating the pork meat.

What more,I didn't like being told that when we travel overseas we should do this because the food everywhere is non-halal and we have no choice.

What I didn't like most is how modern malays are changing the perceptions towards Islam.Like i said earlier,If a restaurant is non-halal then it is non-halal.It is clear cut that you as a muslim cannot eat there,Infact that sign is being placed there to show muslims that they are not supposed to eat there. You don't eat there and say it is okay as long as you don't eat the pork meat.If they want to eat there then let them as long as they know that what they are doing is not allowed but if they want to eat there and try to talk this kind of rubbish,They are not responsible muslims.

When they said that travelling overseas and "have to" eat in non-halal restaurants because it is hard to find halal food is okay,I was so tempted to ask them back if it is okay because they want to eat the food there or is it okay because they are just too lazy or don't want to eat the halal food that is available.

Because as far as i am concern,There was a halal restaurant ten minutes walk away from where we were eating and there was no excuse for us to eat there. We are only allowed to drink alcohol or eat non-halal food ONLY if and ONLY IF we are somewhere like probably in the middle of a jungle and have no other drink or food left and if we dont eat or drink we will die,Then it is allowed for us to drink and eat it.However,If there is a halal restaurant ten minutes away then i think that it is not appropriate for us to do so.I am an open minded muslim,I didnt mind my friends eating in front of me just as long as they know what they are doing is wrong but when it comes to giving this rubbish excuses,I really do have a problem with that.

4.I think that i have written enough about this today,I will continue part two another time when i am free.I am just very unhappy about what is going on and i just want to make things clear to everybody. On a brighter note about politics news.I am very happy with what Zaid Ibrahim have done.He was the only one who took action and resigned from his post because he was unhappy with ISA unlike the others who just made noise but do nothing.I am very happy to know that Zaid Ibrahim have continued his fight by writing an open letter to Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi. To read more about this then click the link given below from the Malaysiakini website.
